James M. Sullivan, 88, died September 7, 2017. He was born September 2, 1929 in Oklahoma City to James and Mildred (Mefford) Sullivan. A graduate of Classen High School, he retired after 40 years as a bridge engineer for the Oklahoma State Highway Dept. He loved trains and was a member of the Lionel Train Club. He enjoyed remote control cars, kit cars, and made turquoise and silver jewelry. Preceded in death by his wife, Jean, he is survived by his daughters, Jacque Northrip and husband Terry, and Julia Sullivan; son, Randy Sullivan; brothers, Wayne and Donald Sullivan; 6 grandchildren, Connie Jean Blevins, Jennifer Jo Brochu, Jeanna Rene Parker, Christopher Michael Bryan, Michelle Sullivan, and James Ryan Sullivan; and 9 great-grandchildren, Lucas Blevins, Tyler Blevins, Kalea Blevins, Morgan Miller, Jacee Miller, Laney Brochu, Michael Joseph Bryan, Keaton Harris Bryan, and Brinley Jaymes Bryan. Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 12, 1:00pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.
