Dad passed away on Wednesday at the age of 92. Married 54 years to the love of his life, Norma Nadine, he is now reunited with Mom in Heaven. Dad was a U.S. Marine veteran who served in WWII and spent 35+ years in the insurance industry, retiring as District Group Manager for Mass Mutual. Being an avid reader of his Bible, Billy Graham, Joel Olsteen and Louis L'Amour westerns, Dad also enjoyed playing golf, landscaping his yard and "get-togethers" with family... his favorite thing to do! He is survived by his son, Phil Smith and wife, Sherri and blessed by many family members and friends. He loved us all. Being practical, Dad preferred plants in his memory or donations made to the Salvation Army. In lieu of a service, you can spend time with Dad on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. and with our family and friends from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Absury, Bethany, OK.
