James "Darrell" Myers, 80, passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Darrell was born June 9, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK to Frank & Eva (McCauley) Myers. Darrell was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Oklahoma City. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda (Holman) Myers on June 9, 1956; they were married 46 years until her passing. Darrell was Owner / Operator of Oklahoma Mat and Plate Company. He later worked for and retired from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; daughter, Vicki (Myers) Robinson; and brother, Allan Myers. He is survived by son, Michael Myers & wife Judy; son, Mark Myers & wife Catherine; son-in-law, Gary Robinson; grandchildren, Bethany (Robinson) Freeman & husband Treavor, Tyler Robinson and fianc Katie Johnson, Jacqueline (Myers) Castner & husband Kale; and Mary Myers; great-grandchildren, Brycen & Derek Freeman. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams, Bethany. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 22, 10:00am at Rose Hill Burial Park.
