James Carroll McIntyre, 70, passed away on January 8, 2026 in Norman, OK. He was born August 23, 1955 to Frances and Dugal McIntyre in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married his wife, Linda, on March 6, 1980. Jim retired from the Federal Aviation Administration, working as a computer programmer, after 16 years.

Jim trusted Christ as his Savior in 1976, and spent the rest of his life pursuing God. He loved to tell anyone he came in contact with how God had changed his life and gave him hope.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Dugal, and two grandbabies.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, John McIntyre and Robert McIntyre and wife, Cathryn; daughter, Kelly Garden and husband, Alexander; and son, David McIntyre; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his brother, Charles McIntyre and wife, Kaddy.

Many cherished, lifelong friends and family will miss him dearly.

A memorial lunch and service following will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Norman, OK.
