James Thomas Kimbrough, "Jamie", was born on December 8, 1980 in Oklahoma City to Ron & Joyce Kimbrough and joined his Heavenly Father on October 21, 2017 at home with his beloved dog, Abby. He was predeceased by his favorite Papa, T.A. Overstreet and favorite Grandma, Elsie Kimbrough. He is survived by his best dog-girl, Abby "Boo Bear"; parents, Ron & Joyce Kimbrough; sister, Crystal Ricketson and husband Chad of Stillwater; nephews, Kalen & Cole Ricketson; niece, Alissa Ricketson; Great Aunt, Wanda Lombino; Aunt, "Bucky Lane" Elaine Kimbrough; and many other family members, friends and co-workers. Jamie graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1999 and shortly after began an 18-year career at Hobby Lobby working his way up to Team Leader in Store Drawings & Prints. He was an amazing son, uncle, brother and friend with a contagious smile and the ability to make lemonade out of lemons. When his Jeep doors were stolen, he installed cardboard doors and took pictures. Jamie can never be replaced. There was no one like him. He was, just Jamie. A service to celebrate Jamies life will be held Thursday, October 26, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany. No graveside. Visitation will be held at Mercer-Adams on Wednesday, 9am-9pm.
