Jim Palmer, CPA, passed away on December 4th at the age of 66. Jim grew up in Afton, OK, graduating from Afton High School and earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central State University. After graduation from college, he worked in the accounting & tax preparation profession for a wide variety of companies ranging from Harolds Clothing Stores to several oil & gas related companies & finally working for Naifeh & Associates until he was forced to retire early due to disability developed as a result of an automobile accident. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Betty Palmer, & his older brother, Danny Palmer. He is survived by his brother, Greg Palmer & his wife Francy; his sister, Sharon Miles; niece, Kimberly Crager & husband Dan of Pittsburg, KS; nephews, Daniel Palmer & his wife Janet of Miami, OK, Matthew Palmer & his wife Andrea of Edmond, OK, Brett Palmer & his fianc Emily Piper of Crested Butte, CO, & Clinton Palmer & his wife Courtney of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by many loved great nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Frank Naifeh, Jims former employer, for being such a special friend to Jim over the years.
