James W. Howard, 92, died November 18, 2014 in Bethany, Oklahoma. He was born January 20, 1922 in Hiawatha, Kansas to Dana and Margie (Strunk) Howard. He proudly served in the Navy on the USS Intrepid during World War II. James married Della Mae Metzler on June 22, 1962. He retired from Rockwell International / Gulfstream as an aircraft machinist and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Della; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Howard. Services to celebrate his life will be Monday, November 24, 11:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Custer City Cemetery, Custer City, Oklahoma.
