James Jack Fouche, 78, passed away March 16, 2011 in Oklahoma City. He was born on January 5, 1933 in Albany, GA to Jack and Velma Harden Fouche. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Louise G. Northcutt on February 19, 1954. He worked at TG&Y, Locke Supply and Faith Electric, and at one time owned a shoe store. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bethany, OK. His hobbies were airplanes, wood-working, music, and he also built a log home. He also held a private pilots license. He was preceded in death by his brother, Reverend Bill Fouche. Survivors include his wife, Louise; daughter Connie and son-in-law Curtis Greene, of Norman, OK; son Dennis and daughter-in-law Stella Fouche, of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughters Tanya Smith, Rene Paxton & Amy Wheeler; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, one unborn great-great-grandson, all of the Oklahoma City metro area; and many other loving family members and friends. Special thanks to Dewonna Cargle who loved and took wonderful care of Jack.
Viewing will be held Friday, March 19, 2011, from 9am-9pm with the family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell, OK.
