James Edwin Fisher, 84, of Oklahoma City, left this earth to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2011. He was born September 22, 1927 in Richmond, Indiana to Arthur and Helen Mikesell Fisher. Rev. James Fisher first received his ministers license in the Church of the Nazarene in Richmond, Indiana in 1950. He was a pastor and music minister at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Oklahoma City for almost 30 years. He is survived by a brother, Tom Fisher and his wife, Martha, of Oklahoma City; a sister, Marjorie Toombs of Stanford, Kentucky; 3 daughters, Kitty Hogan of Bethany, OK, Susan Emrich and her husband, J.R., of Oklahoma City, Jane Cobb and her husband, Curt, of Piedmont, OK; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 7pm-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, OK. Services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6606 N.W. 16th St., OKC 73127. Burial will follow in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7500 W. Britton Road, OKC 73132.
