James Anthony Coffin, 73, died January 19, 2018 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 27, 1944 in Shelbyville, Indiana to George Oliver and Julie (Harms) Coffin. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He married Barbara A. Marley on June 12, 1995 and she preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Allen Coffin, and his sister, Susan Camp. Survivors include his son, David Morris and wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, OK; his daughter, Tamara McMillen and husband Tim of Yukon, OK; his son, Scott Coffin and wife Jennifer of Edmonds, WA; his daughter, Noelle Birchfield and husband Armour of Bellevue, NE; his daughter, Krista Pease and husband Chris of Papillion, NE; his grandchildren, Natasha Morris, Miranda McMillen, Trevor McMillen, Ian Coffin, Gabrielle Coffin, Taylor Johnston, Colin Johnston, Kellen Birchfield, Vanessa Pease, Christopher Pease; and his sister, Phyllis Hatcher. He fought so hard for such a long time, he will be missed so very much. Memorial service will be Friday, January 26, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
