Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Porter died suddenly at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK on December 18, 2021. She was 74 years old. Jackie was born in Valley Park, MO on January 20, 1947. Her parents were Woodrow ("Woody") Wilson Porter and Irene Ruth Porter. She was preceded in death by her father in 1995; her mother in 2014; her sister, Barbara Kutheis in 2016; and Elijah Wilson Burnett, her sister Catherines newborn boy in 1978.
Jackie lived her first 7 years of life in Valley Park, MO, before moving to Oklahoma City with her parents, sisters Barbara, born in 1950, Rose Mary, born in 1951, and Catherine ("Cathy"), born in 1954. She lived in Oklahoma City the remainder of her life.
Jackie attended Hawthorne Grade School and then the "Old" Classen High School, a Jr. and Sr. School. She graduated in 1965. Jackie sang in the choir in high school.
After school, Jackie lived with her parents before marrying. She was married 10 years, then divorced, bringing her beloved son, Todd, with her. They moved in with her parents. In her parents "senior" years, she took care of her father, who had lung cancer, and her mother, who had diabetes and dementia. She worked very hard each day during these times, and her sisters appreciated what she did for our parents, which kept them out of a nursing home.
After their deaths, Todd married Randie Erwin. Jackie lived in their home until her death. Jackie was a good mother, homemaker and caregiver. She also did some brief office work for a relative.
