Obituary

On Friday, September 6, 2013, Jack Thomas Milner joined his Heavenly family and passed from this life to the Golden City beyond. He was born on May 29, 1937 to F.O. "Sox" Milner and Marguerite Emma Wilson Milner. He is preceded in death by his parents, his younger brother, Daniel George Milner, his wife Judith Brown Milner and his precious granddaughter, Heather Ashley Milner who were all waiting to greet him upon his homecoming. He is survived by his sister, Mary Tilley, daughter Jenny Milner, granddaughter Bailee Milner, grandson Ashton Milner, wife Whitney and great-granddaughter, Heather Elizabeth Milner. Also by his daughter Julia Rennie, husband Michael, grandsons Mason Baker and Ryland Baker and by his son Jason Milner, wife Kristy, grandsons Colton Milner, Dillon Milner, granddaughter Isabella Milner and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was a member of the Siloam Masonic Lodge #276 AF&AM, the Scottish Rite of Guthrie, OK, and the India Shrine. He was a Past Rainbow Dad of Siloam Assembly #5, IORG. He was a very active participant with his daughters in the Order of Rainbow for Girls, a cause he dearly loved. He was also very involved with the Boy Scouts and helping his son Jason Milner to obtain the prestigious level of Eagle Scout. He was also involved with the OKC Computer Club for many years serving as VP of Membership. He will be remembered by all as someone who was generous and caring and loved life. We miss you and love you Grandpa and will see you again one day! Viewing will be at Mercer-Adams in Bethany on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 9am-9pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
