Jack Curran, 89, died January 25, 2016. He was born February 3, 1926 in Handley, TX to Stewart and Mary (Whalen) Curran. He retired after 29 years as a postal carrier. Dad was a great amateur golfer, having won the Championship Flight Fourball in 1971. He was also an accomplished bowler, still carrying a 190 average when he was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Raenola, and son, Curtis. Survivors include his son, Brad Curran and wife Sherry; sister, Mary Ann Star; 2 granddaughters, Ana and Jenny; 1 grandson, Alex; and 4 great-grandchildren, Beta, Karlin, Trevin and Mason.
