Ivan Robert Lee Reed, affectionately known as "Bob, Baba & Bobby," 82, died at his home on December 13, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK, surrounded by his loving wife and 2 daughters. He was born July 29, 1940, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Ivan and Mildred (Harmon) Reed. Bob was the "Rainbo Bread Man" for close to 30 years. He was a longtime, active member and Deacon of Council Road Baptist Church where he also taught childrens Sunday school. He sang in the choir and was a member of the Apostles quartet, which was one of the greatest joys of his life. The Quartet consisted of not only fellow singers, but a Band of Close Brothers in Christ. Bob married Alice Mae Wilmoth on December 16th, 1960, which was also Alices Birthday, and this Friday would mark their 62nd wedding anniversary. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Claudine (Harmon) Reed, and his father, Ivan Vey Lee Reed. Bob leaves behind his loving wife, Alice; his daughters, Rhonda Pollock and husband Mike, and Melanie Moore and husband Curtis; sister, Deanna "Joanie" Pope; grandchildren, Ashlee Woodring, Jeremy Pollock and wife Elizabeth, Jenny Loud and husband Colby, and Tyler Clark; great-grandchildren, Allie Pollock, Brayden Pollock, Ezra Loud and Ellie Rose Loud "Little Girl"; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. One of Bobs most cherished pastimes was his quiet time reading his Bible and praying; along with watching OU Football and Girls Softball. Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2:00pm at Council Road Baptist Church Chapel, 2900 N. Council Road, Bethany, OK 73008.
