Iva Jane Williams, 71, of Bethany, Oklahoma passed away on June 2, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Lawrence and Mary Coldiron on November 12, 1942 in Koshkonong, Missouri. She is survived by two daughters, Natalie Williams Barber and husband Adam of Edmond, Oklahoma and Ginger Williams Coleman and husband Brad of Oklahoma City. She was deeply loved by her four grandchildren; Jessica Barber, Andrew Barber, Matthew Coleman and Joshua Coleman. Three nieces, Ronna Turner, Vonna Doerring and Felicia Weeks, two nephews, Andrew and Timothy Underwood, and sister-in-laws, Vonda Hunt and Geraldine Underwood also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lehman Coldiron and her husband, Richard Williams. Iva had many talents and hobbies; sewing, knitting, upholstering furniture, and playing the piano and banjo, just to name a few. Another interest of hers was computers and learning the latest technology. She also loved her two dogs, Teddy Bear and Trixie. After turning 50, she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from OCCC and started a career at H&R Block as a tax preparer. Over the years, Iva developed many close friendships and enjoyed helping her loyal clients. In 2011, she successfully attained the IRS Enrolled Agent certification. She was a very dedicated employee and worked until April 17 of this year. As we think of all the good times we had with Mom, talking on the phone for hours, shopping at thrift stores and knitting together, we are saddened that it has come to an end. But we feel joy that peace and comfort has been restored to her in heaven with our Godly father. Services will be Friday, June 6, 3:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
