Inez Renee Rogers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away April 19, 2010 following a courageous battle with emphysema. Born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, December 6, 1931, to Ivan and Lillian Chandler. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Rogers; son Mike and his wife Betty of Oklahoma City; son Steve and his wife Debbie of Newalla; two sisters, Oneta Williams and her husband Truman of Anadarko, OK and Mildred Duke of Skellytown, TX; two brothers, Leroy and his wife Reba Chandler, and Leon Chandler, both of Lindsay, OK; five grandchildren, Michele and her husband Mike Boatman of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael and his wife Brittany Biggs of Round Rock, TX, Tony and his wife Chrystal Fredrick of Harrah, OK, Desiree and her husband Jeff Smouse, Saratoga Springs, NY, Lorrie Fredrick, Midwest City, OK; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Inez enjoyed spending time with family, going to Lake Texoma, fishing, riding three wheelers, working crossword puzzles; she loved playing dominos and watching Survivor. Inez and Bob regularly attended Newchurch. She was Secretary Treasure of B & R Vending Company until she retired. A memorial service will be held at Newchurch at 9210 N. Rockwell, Oklahoma City on Thursday, April 22 at 12:00pm with a lunch following. A viewing with the family will be held on Wednesday, April 21 from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 N. Asbury Bethany, OK. In lieu of flowers, memoral contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
