Inez Oleta Frame, 99, passed in peace, March 26, 2017 at her home in Bethany, Oklahoma. Inez was born on June 17, 1917 in Jacksboro, Texas to Jesse Washington Shields and Myrtle Ann (Weir) Shields. She was the 7th of nine children. Inez is survived by her son, Gerald and his wife Ann; daughter-in-law, Jeanine; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin; son, David; her siblings, Jasper Marion Shields, Jarrett Erwin Shields, Hershal Sidney Shields, Alvin Carl Shields, Kertis Troy Shields, Vera Arlene (Shields) Young, Rollan Ozie Shields, and Elzie Loyd Shields; grandson, Michael, and great-granddaughter, Chloe. Inez attended school in Jacksboro, Texas. She continued her education at Southwestern Bible College and received an associates degree in secretarial science. She worked for many years for the Federal Aviation Administration and retired with them. Her interests included family, church, gardening, quilting and reading. She was an active member at Capital Hill Assembly of God for many years and belonged to the Central Oklahoma Quilters Guild. Inez will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a devoted mother, Christian and friend and she will always be cherished. Services will be Thursday, March 30, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
