A very precious and loved lady has been taken from us. Inez Marie Forsberg was a sweet, caring, energetic, hospitable lover of God, family and friends. She was born in Rockwell City, Iowa on September 21, 1921 to Charles and Ida Turner. She was the youngest of six children. In 1956, she married Dwayne Forsberg in Kansas City, Missouri and in 1957 she gave birth to her only child, Douglas Forsberg. Inez worked at Hallmark Cards and their retail store "Halls" in Kansas City. Being a naturally caring "people person," Inez was a great salesperson and was loved by her fellow employees and her customers. She closed out her work career working at the "Hall's Catalog" and at the "Jones Store." Inez will be remembered as the faithful and loving wife of Dwayne who together made "the charming couple." Dwayne and Inez most assuredly had the gift of hospitality. Their love for people, cooking, and special dinners and parties made them greatly loved by friends, neighbors and family. Entering the home of Dwayne and Inez was a wonderful blessing where a warm, comfortable atmosphere greeted you along with the smells of delicious food and, most wonderful of all, the sweet smiles, hospitality and love of this truly charming couple. On Saturday, April 26, Inez entered her eternal home at the age of 92. Her warmth, love and sweet spirit now resides in Heaven and in the many hearts still living who loved and admired this very special daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, mema, cousin and faithful friend. Services will be Wednesday, April 30, 10:00am at Forest Glade Nursing Home, North Building.
