Ida Eva Penner Hunter, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011. Born in Fairview, Oklahoma, April 11, 1943, to Abraham and Eva Eck Penner, Ida Eve was a devoted mother and grandmother, a gracious care-giver to elderly adults, and a retired employee of AT&T/Lucent. She grew up on a family farm and carried the peacefulness of nature in her heart throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hunter and her sisters Malinda, Kathrine, Ruby, and Frances Marie. Ida Eve is survived by her sons Charles Hubbard, Darrell Hubbard, Stanley Hubbard and his wife Luminita; her step-children John, Brian, and Sarah Hunter; her brothers Ruben, Earnest, and Ervin; her sisters Rosa, Pennie, Margaretha, Susanna, Elizabeth, and Esther; and her grandchildren Cameron, Benjamin, Olivia, Hayden, Hayley, Helayna, Edward, and Hudson. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, OK. The cemetery service will be held at 3:30pm at Bethel Acres in Bethel, OK.
