Hubert Lynn Foster, 90, passed away on July 21, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1935 to Hubert Lee Foster and Naomi Harp Foster in Vinita, OK. He married Marlene Lechner on August 29, 1959. Hubert was a graduate of Oklahoma State University. While he was in college, he began working for Southwestern Bell during the summer breaks. After graduation, he enjoyed a successful career with Southwestern Bell / AT&T until his retirement in 1994.

Hubert was a man of great faith and his love for Jesus showed in all he did in life. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed playing and watching tennis. His coffee time with his tennis buddies, even when he could no longer play, was a treasured time. Hubert also enjoyed going to estate and garage sales with Marlene, finding treasures to refinish and repurpose. Hubert and Marlene were an incredible team in all aspects of life in their almost 66 years together.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Foster and Dan Foster; and sister, Dorothy Foster Bloom.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Foster; son and daughter-in-law, David and Wendy Foster; son, John Foster; daughter, Elizabeth Graham; and son and daughter, Tra and Lam Nguyen; grandchildren, Alex Graham, Ellis Hubert Graham, Nick Graham, Katie Foster Wyatt, Garrett Foster, Nina Nguyen and Nicole Nguyen; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Foster Paige; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams will be Tuesday, 1pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 11:00am, at Crossings Community Church Chapel with interment following in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed on this obituary page.
