Howard Jordan Swedlow was born April 27, 1939 in Bronx, New York and died of a heart attack in Oklahoma City on November 5, 2008 at the age of 69. He was the son of Samuel Swedlow [1908-1956] and Edna Katz [1914-1994]. Howard was the brother of Morton Swedlow and David Brian Swedlow [1946-2008]. He was survived by his first wife, Diane Kootner Lindsay (married June 8, 1960) and his second wife, Karen Ann Diemer (married October 14, 1969). Howard was also survived by his children, Scott (Lynne), Sharon (David), Ronald, Leif (Michelle), and Kevin (Jackie). He was also survived by his grandchildren, Ronald James "R.J.", Michael David, Sarah Gabriela, Isaac Solomon, Madison Olivia, Autumn Grace, Jessica Faith, and Sren Karl as well as several nieces and nephews and close friends. He attended Far Rockaway High School in Queens, NY and Brooklyn College in Brooklyn. Howard served in the Marine Corps from 1957-60. Services will be Friday, November 7, 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
