Obituary

Hilary Kean Heck, 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 13, 2020. Kean loved the Lord and had been studying with the Bible Study Fellowship Organization for 14 years. He was a member of Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City where he served in Childrens Ministry for 5 years. Kean married Janice Wilkinson of Murray, KY in 1967. Kean graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky in 1969 and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. While at Murray, he majored in math and taught in Illinois and at Henderson County High School in Kentucky. He later studied computer programming and worked at P.B. & S. Chemical Co. and Brentagg in Henderson, KY as a Programmer System Analyst and finally in the IT Department where he managed systems across the Southeast. Kean is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice; sons, Steven Scott Heck and his wife, Traci and Michael Craig Heck and his wife, Kari; 3 grandchildren, whom he dearly loved and enjoyed, Andrew Steven Heck, Abigail Caroline Heck, and Kaatje Jayne Heck, all of whom are soccer players and great pianists. Kean is also survived by his brother, Reginald Heck of Evansville, IN; and sister, Karen Click of Louisville, KY. Arrangements include viewing on Wednesday, November 18 from 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19, 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. .
