Henry Preston Pederson, 82, of OKC, passed away May 18, 2019. Henry was born in Hamilton, TX on June 1, 1936 to Iver Olaf and Lora Mae (Ritchey) Pederson. In 1955, he married the love of his life, Patsy Jenell Alexander, and they recently celebrated their 64th anniversary. He attended the University of Oklahoma and proudly served 8 years in the Air National Guard. He was a faithful member of Council Road Baptist Church and was active in Sunday School and small group. He volunteered at R.O.C. (Reaching Our City) food pantry and was a 40+ year member of Northwest Kiwanis Club, serving as treasurer for many of those years. He built ramps for Rebuilding Together OKC as a 14-year volunteer serving as the team organizer of the "A" Team. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, LaVerne Meadows, Wanda Bosley, and Jens Pederson. He is survived by his wife, Patsy; daughters, Julie Renee Gaches and spouse Michael of Stillwater, OK, Jill Carlson of Hooper, NE; grandchildren, Tyler Hammons, Amber Davenport, Brittany Peterson and her spouse Justin, Cody Carlson, Mia Gaches, and Rylee Gaches; great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Chasity, Jace and Tinsley. Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 11:00am at Council Road Baptist Church with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
