Helen Maxine Permenter, 92, of Edmond, OK, was reunited with her beloved husband, Morris in heaven on November 6, 2017. She was born April 5, 1925 in Blackwell, OK to Nellie and John Jackman. She married Morris Permenter on December 23, 1953 in Braman, OK. Helen lived in Braman until she moved to Norman, OK in 1952 for one year of college at Oklahoma University. She later moved to Oklahoma City, OK and worked at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in 1953. Then, she worked as office manager for 17 years for a doctor, retiring and becoming a housewife her remaining years. She was a member of the Oklahoma City Art League and The Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris Permenter; brother, Lloyd Jackman; sister-in-law, Jean Jackman; and nephew, Steven Jackman. Survivors include her son, John; daughter-in-law, Marcia; grandchildren, Allison, Matthew and his wife Christina; niece, Melanie Riker and family; and nephew, Drew Jackman and family.Private family services.
