Surrounded by her family, Helen Kathleen Anderson, 83, joined her heavenly Father on Thursday, January 16th, 2009. She was born in Bolivar, MO on December 29th, 1925 to Earnest & Edna Seiner. She was married to her one true love Clark J. Anderson for 57 years, & together they raised 3 children. She worked at Glens Hikry Inn for over 25 years & managed the Jewelry Dept. at Streets for 10 years. She was a longtime member of Putnam City Baptist Church & a current member of Mayfair Baptist Church. Helen lived her life focusing on the ones she loved & will always be remembered as a devoted wife and sister, loving mother, nurturing grandmother, and special friend. She is preceded in death by husband Clark; brother Charles and sisters Ruth, Opal, Lorene, Earnestine; grandson Jon; and great-granddaughter Hope Rose. She is survived by her brother, Bob, and sisters, Joan and Dorothy, along with many nieces and nephews. Helen and Clark were the proud parents of son Larry & wife Sharon, and twins Steve & wife Christy, and Pam & husband Jim Morgan; 8 grandchildren: Shawn, Lori, Jim, Justin, Zach, Betsy, Ashley, Cori; & 15 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the care and comfort provided by the staff at Bellevue Nursing Center & Suzanne of Mercy Hospice. Thank you also to Maggie McKee for being such a dear friend to Helen. Funeral services will be held at Mercer-Adams on Monday, January 19th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
