Obituary

Harry Bryan Macrory, 78, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born January 27, 1948, in Oklahoma City to Harry B. Macrory and Juanita (Bryan) Macrory.

Bryan was an avid and lifelong student of history and theology, passions that remained an important part of his life throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his grandparents, H.B. and Gertrude Macrory and Hugh and Nellie Bryan.

Bryan is survived by his partner of 51 years, Michael Cross; his sons, Bohn Macrory and his partner, Lee Jackson, and Daniel Macrory and his former wife, Denise Macrory. He is also survived by his sister, Claudia Rousselle; his niece, Adrienne Haygood, her husband, Hutch, and their son, Christian; and his nephew, Reece Rousselle, his wife, Liz, and their children, Cooper and Emerson. He leaves behind many cousins, extended family members, and loved ones who will remember him fondly.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
