Harold Louis Schroeder, 96, died July 12, 2017 in OKC. He was born September 1, 1920 in Okarche, OK to Louis and Clara Schroeder. He married Doris Masheter in 1943 and they enjoyed 64 wonderful years together before her death in 2007. Harold retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 37 years as a machinist. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a founding member and 1st president of Messiah Lutheran Church. He was proud that he was a strong Christian. He read his Bible every day, prayed, and was faithful in his church attendance. He and Doris loved traveling, gardening, square dancing, and fishing at Lake Eufaula. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Doris, siblings, Roland, Helen, Edna, Stan, Ralph, and Annabell. Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Johnson and husband Richard of Denver, CO; son, Sid Schroeder of Bethany, OK; grandson, Timothy Rykken and Freida Stalheim; and great-grandson, Isaac Rykken.
