Harold Roy Morgan, 82, died August 24, 2009. He was born October 16, 1926 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Harold received his B.A. in Religion from SNU and a M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He was a Nazarene Minister who tirelessly served the church in many capacities. He was director of numerous youth camps, District NYPS President, District Secretary/Treasurer, District Advisory Board, Board of Trustees for ONU and SNU, District Sunday School Secretary, and active in the Ministerial Alliance. What he really excelled at was being a shepherd to his congregations. He made thousands of calls in homes and hospitals and led many people to Christ through the years. He loved God, family and country. Preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Jean, Harold is survived by his daughter, Janet Hulsey and husband Steve; son, Stephen Morgan and his wife Leann; grandchildren, Janna Rothwell and husband Tim, Jill King and husband Eric, Jessica McDaniel and husband Mike, and Parker Morgan; and 5 great-grandchildren.
