Leo H. Gulikers was born in Maastricht, Holland on July 30, 1935. He, his parents and 15 siblings migrated to the US in 1957. In 1961, Leo married his lovely wife of 58 years, Amelia Irene Drake. Leo passed away from a battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Loved dearly by many, he is survived by his wife, Irene, daughters Jennie (spouse Randy), Leona (spouse Darnell) and Angela. He was blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and a multitude of extended family. He was well-known to many patrons of Crescent Foods and he was currently employed at Whole Foods Market. Leos services will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, 1:30pm at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. Viewing will be Sunday, Feb. 9 from 11am-9pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany with family present from 2-4pm for prayer services.
