Gene was born to Porter and Ethel Cargill in Fillmore, Oklahoma. He is survived by 2 sons, Rod Cargill and wife Carol, Todd Cargill and wife Kathy; and grandson, Bryan Cargill. He is also survived by one sister, Nita Fields. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Thorval Carden, and brother, Bud Cargill. He worked for 30 plus years for Railway Express Agency and then opened his own business, Sooner Porcelain Refinishing. His laugh is what most people will remember, and this will be a part of his celebration of life at 11:00am Friday, August 24 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm.
