Gregory (Greg) Unruh October 1, 1979 - May 14, 2022 After a short and hard battle with aggressive stage 4 melanoma, Greg Unruh, of Oklahoma City passed away on May 14, 2022 at the young age of 42. Greg leaves behind his devoted wife of 20 years, Christy Unruh; sons, Zachary and Nicholas Unruh; daughter, Alyssa Lund and husband Richard; brothers, Daniel Unruh and wife Jennifer, William Stallcup and wife Krystle; step sister, Jessica Stallcup; mother, Teri Stallcup, and step father, Doug Stallcup; his grandparents, Norma and Gerald Unruh; uncles, Jeff and Russell Unruh; mother and father-in-law, Beverly and Mark Lucas; brother and sister-in-law, James and Dawnetta Lucas; eleven nephews and five nieces; and lastly, countless close friends. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Dean Unruh; grandmother, Gayle McCall; and brother, Jeff Skinner. Greg was a devoted husband and beloved father. Family was the largest part of his life. He enjoyed summers at the lake and working on his Camaro with his boys. One of Greg's biggest highlights of his life was last June when he gave his daughter away at her wedding. He loved his dogs as much as he loved his favorite candy, now and later. Greg was a loyal friend to many and quite the comedian. If Greg wasn't enjoying time with his family and friends, he was found working on or watching muscle cars and loved his motorcycles. The boys look forward to finishing the Camaro and taking it for a ride in honor of their dad. Greg spent 20 years in the heat and air business at RM Luna Co, eventually starting his own business, Greg and Sons Home Repair. Greg reluctantly had to give up his career when he was diagnosed in late March of this year. The viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17th at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, located at 3925 N. Asbury Ave., Bethany, Oklahoma 73008. The family will be present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, Oklahoma. Interment will immediately follow the service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, located at 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love and kindness shown to them during this bereavement. Greg will be dearly missed.
