Golda Lorene Gagliardi was born to William Robert and Texas Hemphill Keith on February 18, 1924 in Hinton, Oklahoma. She moved to Geary in 1931 and later graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. During World War II she met her future husband, Fred J. Gagliardi who predeceased her in January 2000. Golda worked in a variety of retail positions. She and Fred owned Chiarellis Petites in North Park Mall for 10 years. From 1997 to 2007, she worked in the ladies department at Stein Mart in Mayfair Shopping Center. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Aleeta Smith and Cleo Hiersche. She is survived by sons Dennis and Fred Jr., their wives Ann and Jo Ann, all of Edmond. Five grandchildren, Kyle, Darren, Drew, Brooke Wiley and Blair Carleton; great grandchildren, Asher Gagliardi and Payton Emily Gagliardi. Two sisters, Edith Kruta and Sue Amstutz along with numerous nephews and nieces. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, make a donation to the charity of your choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to Faith Hospice, especially Gayla, and the Bellevue Nursing facility. Visitation will be held from 9am 9 pm Monday. Family will greet friends and relatives from 5 7 pm Monday evening. Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
