Gloria Ann Pugh was suddenly and unexpectedly called into her Savior's arms on December 12, 2013. Gloria was born on July 16, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas, and was the beloved daughter of James and Thelma Grigsby. She grew up in Oklahoma City and was a proud member of the Northwest Classen High School Class of 1957. Gloria had a wonderful life. She and her husband, Gordon, cherished the company of family and dear friends and particularly enjoyed their years wintering in Marco Island, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Mark Christopher Pierce. Gloria is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Paul Gordon Pugh; two sons, Gary Douglas Pierce, Jr. and wife, Estey; Jeffrey Todd Pierce and wife, Kathy; two step daughters, Juli Hudson and husband, Lee; and Kim Hamilton and husband, Paul. She was a proud grandmother to Kevin, Steven, Olivia, Kelsey, Kathleen, Eli, Emma and Paul; and great grandchildren, Gabriel and Raelynn. She is also survived by her lifelong and dearest friend, Louise Burris, and her much loved dog, Andy. Gloria will always be remembered for her boundless generosity, beautiful eyes and enduring smile. A service celebrating Gloria's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Grace United Methodist Church, 6316 North Tulsa Avenue in Oklahoma City, with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Visitation will be Sunday, December 15 and Monday, December 16, 2013, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 North Asbury, in Bethany, Oklahoma.
