Obituary

Glennis (Glen) Hendrickson of Bethany left us on Monday, March 11, 2019, at the age of 74. Glen was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 27, 1945 to Grady and Lois Hendrickson. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Wanda Tharp in 2002. Glen was a very talented carpet layer. He excelled at carpet laying and has laid carpet in many of his friends and families homes. He has worked all over Oklahoma. Glen loved motorcycles and has been riding them since his early years. Nothing pleased him more than for Wanda and him to go riding on the motorcycle with friends. He also enjoyed classic cars and attended many car shows throughout the years. He was working on a 1948 Ford Pickup when he became ill. Glen loved going to the lake. His family most remembers his Classic Chris Craft boat. Many times he pulled family and friends behind his boat and taught several how to water ski. Glen and Wanda had a place at Lake Eufaula for several years as they loved being by the lake. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Lois, sister, Louise, sister, Ann, brother, Virgil, and brother, Alfred. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, whom he loved dearly; daughter, Teri Hendrickson Tillery and husband Dennis; sister, Genevia, sister, Joyce; brother, Eugene; grandchildren, Zaquery Thomas, and Crystal Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
