Glenna Rodgers, known to her family as Nana, was born November 30, 1932 in Beech Grove, Arkansas to Joe and Viva Williams. She passed away peacefully in her home April 22, 2009. Glenna was married to her childhood sweetheart, Charles (Poppa Chuck) Rodgers, for 60 years. In addition to Beech Grove, they lived in St. Louis, MO, Coldspring, TX, Mountain Home, AR, and most recently Oklahoma City, OK. Glenna is survived by her husband and two children, Colleen Locke and husband Fred of Huntsville, AL and Kevin Rodgers and wife Gwen of Yukon, OK. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren, Kayla Bosworth and husband Kurt of Columbus, OH, Michael Rodgers of San Diego, CA and Stephanie Yoder and husband Brent of Little Axe, OK. In addition, Glenna leaves behind seven great grandchildren, Addisyn, Koryn, Ayden, Bryce, Kaleb and Brooklynn of Columbus, OH and Olivia Grace of Little Axe, OK. The family will receive guests Friday evening, April 24 from 4:30 7:30 p.m. at Mercer Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, OK. A celebration of her life will be Saturday morning, April 25, 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Church of the Nazarene on Rockwell and N.W. 30th Street.
