Obituary

M. Geraldine "Geri" Julian, 95, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Bethany, Oklahoma. She was born February 2, 1930, to Richard D. Lewis and Ethel Marie (Roberts) Lewis in Gould, Oklahoma. She married William "Bill" Julian on December 28, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Geri earned a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Oklahoma and retired as a School Librarian after two decades of service.

Geri enjoyed painting, gardening, sewing, quilting, and cooking. She loved a good deal and was an avid thrift store shopper. She and Bill traveled extensively in retirement, and she especially loved to visit the Caribbean. She learned to downhill ski in her 40's and continued into her 70's! Geri sang in the church choir, was Sunday school teacher, led youth group when her children were young, volunteered for the after-school tutoring program at Church, and served at the City Rescue Mission.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents; beloved spouse of 67 years, Bill; and siblings, Dorothy Miller, Elva Colwell, Jay Lewis, Richard "Dick" Lewis, Mabel Lewis, and Betty Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Liann Julian McCaslin (Mark); son, Larry Julian (Susan); grandchildren, Michael McCaslin (Amber), Amy McCaslin Jeffries (Jon), Alex Julian Gann (Darrell) and Blake Julian (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Kinsey McCaslin, Julia Kate Gann, Anna Jeffries, and Leo Jeffries; brother, Jack Lewis; and many nieces and nephews. Geri will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Viewing with family present will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00am. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery.
