Gerald (Jerry) Don Williams, eldest son of Rev. H. W. and Violet Williams, is adding his smooth baritone voice to the heavenly choir after departing this world on February 7, 2013. He was born in Troy, Oklahoma on April 3, 1936 and lived most of his life in the Oklahoma City area after attending Capitol Hill High School. However, for the past few years, he has resided at his home near Lake Eufaula. He was a jeweler by trade but his passion was singing southern gospel music with various well known gospel quartets. He also loved to play golf and was a lifelong Sooner fan. He leaves behind three sweet daughters, Kim Moulton, Lisa Williams and Kelley Williams; one outstanding grandson, Justin Williams; three sisters, Rita Tate and husband Richard, Vikki Williams, Renee Light and husband David; and one brother, Tim Williams and wife Jill. Jerry also will be missed by his golfing buddies in Muskogee including great friends Euel Pitman and Danielle Carbone. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and three younger brothers, Ron, Van and Hugh Williams. A private memorial service will be held at Lake Eufaula at a later date. "What a 'singin' we're going to have together some day, Jerry! We love you."
