Georgia May (Turner) Hartman was born August 27, 1926 in Tahlequah, OK, to George and Margaret Turner. She peacefully went to heaven surrounded by loved ones on June 4, 2017. She was married to Oliver Orby Hartman for 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orby, in 2011, her parents, and brothers, Edward and David. Georgia and Orby had 4 children, Geri Willis (Don), Kathy Boatman (Gary), David Hartman (Jaci) and Keta Pope (Dale); 6 grandchildren, Mike Boatman, Stephanie Jimenez, Beci Kirkland, Justin Hartman, Luke Willis and Shannon Hartman; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters, Billie (Turner) Rostermundt and Margaret (Turner) Tennis. She was the owner of Cottage Beauty Shoppe. In 1971, she and her husband, Orby, and their son, David, started H & H Marine in the backyard of their home. Over the next 35 years, she enjoyed working tirelessly as the business grew. She loved spending time with her family, fishing from her lake house at Lake Eufaula, and traveling all around the world. She was a faithful servant of God who enjoyed volunteering at her church. All who knew her were blessed by her friendly, loving and generous spirit. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams.
