George W. Cole, 87, of OKC, OK, died July 16, 2013. He was born Jan. 18, 1926 in Butler, OK to Alva and Ethel Cole. He graduated from Butler HS, and attended the University of Oklahoma following WWII. He proudly served in the US Navy, 1944-1947, as a PBY radioman in the Pacific theater. He married Marjorie Cole, Nov. 10, 1962. He was the Founder of George Cole Securities, Registered Representative, Owner of Dunlap Sporting Goods, and Entrepreneur. George was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and a world traveler with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, George is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie; son, Paul W. Cole, Houston, TX; daughter, Margaret A. Cole, Dallas, TX; son, George B. Cole and wife Candice, Little Rock, AR; sister, Kathy Sinner, Westlake Village, CA; brother, Alva Fred Cole, Perkins, OK; grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Cole, Houston, TX; and 18 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Monday, July 22, 2:00pm in the Watchorn Chapel, St. Luke's United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Luke's UMC Music fund.
