He was fortunate to be raised in a Christian home and grew in his walk with the Lord his entire life. He and Gaye served in bi-vocational music ministry together, as he led and she accompanied him at the piano and organ. He also enjoyed being a part of The Singing Churchmen of OK, as a singer and a bassoon player in the orchestra.
