Geneva Harris Williams, 89, died March 11, 2013. She was born June 19, 1923 in Austin, TX to Loddie Thomas Setliff and Beulah (Yell) Setliff. A graduate of Mathis, TX high school, she attended Bethany-Peniel College. In 1943, she married Russell Harris and together they spent almost sixty years serving the Lord in the Nazarene Church as they pastored in OK, TX and AR. She loved being a minister's wife and enjoyed singing and playing the organ. Russell preceded her in death in 2002. A member of ARMM, she was a seamstress and homemaker, and most loved caring for her grandkids. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Russell R. Harris, and 2 brothers, J.W. and Ardell Setliff. She married in 2003 and is survived by her husband, Rev. Robert "Bob" Williams; daughters, Delores Parker and husband Mike of Bethany, Cheryl "Sherry" Poage and husband Harold of OKC; sister, Pauline Maule; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Tony Greene and wife Rachel, Carley Aldrich and husband Reg, and Cameron Barnhart and fianc Chelsea Bingham; and numerous special nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm with the family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
