Gaylene Jeanette Beverly, 53, of Bethany, OK, passed away January 23 in OKC after a lengthy illness. She was born September 11, 1961. She graduated from PC West in 1979. She played softball and sports in school. Gaylene was a baseball mom who was very involved in her son's baseball and sporting activities. She enjoyed being a scorekeeper, making phone calls or whatever was needed. Other enjoyments in life were crocheting, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, riding with her husband, Raymond, in their Corvette with their youngest baby, Pinto, their Chihuahua. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Carrie (Feagins) Barger, and two brothers, Billy Barger and Greg Easterling. Survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, Raymond; sons, Billy Suttles and fiance Leslie Fillmore, Michael Suttles and wife Breann, Curtis Suttles and wife Meghan, and Brent Beverly and wife Brittany; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Maelee, Jaxen, Rilynn and Robert; sisters, Charlene Spores and Darlene Bishop; sister-in-law, Patti Easterling; and loving family and friends. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, January 29, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment following at Red Rock Cemetery, Calumet, OK. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Kidney Foundation.
