Obituary

Gayle Lynn Phillips Lanoy began her eternal walk with Jesus on February 11, 2022. Gayle was born on March 3, 1976 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Ronald Phillips and Sandy Kalil. She graduated from Yukon High School in 1994 and married the love of her life, Jeremy Lanoy, on November 4, 1995 in Yukon, Oklahoma. The best description for Gayle is she was "Full." She was full of life, love, joy, empathy, grace, faith and compassion. She loved her family and God to the fullest. She impacted the lives of every person she encountered, always had a smile, and never knew a stranger. No one knows this love better than her family. Their two children, Christian and Abigayle, were her life. There is no greater love than the love she had for them. They will carry on her legacy of strength, unwavering determination, contagious joy, and ability to make every person feel important. Gayle will be greatly missed by her siblings, Gary, Tanny, Jimmy, Christy, and sister-in-law, Jennifer; along with her nieces and nephews who could always count on a facetime from her to make their day better. She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Lanoy; son, Christian Lanoy; daughter, Abigayle Lanoy; mother and stepfather, Sandy and Jim Kalil of Houston, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Henry Lanoy; 8 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Phillips and grandmother, Lee Correll. Gayle was an incredibly hard worker and when she decided she was going to do something, she didn't just do it. She attacked it with a passion and heart like no other. She worked at AT&T as a trainer and after her fathers hard-fought battle with cancer at Mercy Hospital, Gayle was inspired by the kindness of the nurses. This prompted her to start her respiratory therapist career with Mercy where she later moved to the NICU. She went on to work at Oklahoma Heart Hospital and most recently worked for VieMed where she began as a respiratory therapist. Her love for the company and her work grew as she accepted the role of District Regional Manager. There is no doubt that she made an impact on every life she touched. Gayle was a proud member of The Bridge Church. She never failed to invite her friends and family to join her every Sunday. She would always have a seat saved for every person and would find you a spot no matter how late you were. She loved serving her church. Over the years, some of Gayles fondest memories were made at the lake with her family and friends, ball games, wrestling matches and t-ball games. She loved spoiling her fur babies, and you could always bet that she would have a new cat when you came over next. Gayle was the wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter that people aspire to be. She was a role model to all those lucky enough to know her and will forever be remembered by her infectious smile, her free-spirited outlook on life, and her fiery passion for the Lord. Just like she saved those seats every Sunday, she will be saving the best seats in the house for when we meet again. A memorial of Gayles life will be held on Saturday, February 19, 1:00 pm at The Bridge Church in Piedmont, 4050 Edmond Rd. NE, Piedmont, OK 73078.
