Gary "Otis" Watkins, 66, was called home March 20th, 2021 in Oklahoma City. He was born in Richmond, California on June 21st, 1954 to Tera and Nettie (Batchelor) Watkins. Otis had a talent for music since the day he entered our world. He taught himself how to play a guitar, along with many other instruments, and began playing at local bars around town at a very early age. He won many awards for best guitar player. He loved riding his motorcycles and picked up a hobby for fishing. He was married to Sylvia Robison on August 21st, 1976 in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tera and Nettie Watkins; brother, Jim Watkins; and nephew, Daren McCallister. His surviving family includes his wife, Sylvia Watkins, his son, Spencer Watkins, his daughter, Lauren Watkins, his grandchildren, Desiree and Seth Watkins, his sister, Betty McCallister and her children David, Coral, and Roy Dale McCallister, and his brothers children, Damon and Keena Watkins. Services will be Friday, March 26th, at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel (live streamed) with inurnment in Resurrection Cemetery following services. .
