Gary Dean Holland passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009. He was born on August 21, 1946 at St. Anthony Hospital to John D. and Helen (Holland) Holland. He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam City High School. He joined the Air Force at the age of 18 and proudly served our country overseas four years. After his time in the service, he met and married Sharon Kay Todd on April 9, 1969. Together, they started a family, raising two sons and two daughters. He worked as a truck driver, traveling cross country and seeing the sights which he enjoyed. Gary attended the Lake View Park Church of the Nazarene. His hobbies included country music, movies, electronics, computers, camping, trips to the lake, water skiing, sports ~ in particular the Oklahoma City Hornets and Thunder, and playing games. Preceded in death by his father, John David Holland, he is survived by his mother, Helen; wife, Sharon; sons, Johnny and his wife, Carrie, and Bobby; daughters, Tracie Edge and her husband, Michael, Stacie Love and her husband, Greg; brother, Terry and his wife, Pat; sister Janie Gary and her husband, Billy; and 3 grandchildren: Cheyenne, Alexis and Garrett. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Lake View Park Church of the Nazarene with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
