Garry D. Vavak, 85, died February 12, 2023 in his home in Bethany. He was born May 23, 1937 in Silva, MO to Lorene (Vavak) Clubb. On May 28, 1959, he married the love of his life, Bea (Jackson) Vavak in OKC. He served four years in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bea; and parents, Henry Dee and Lorene Clubb. Survivors include his children, Terri Vavak of Bethany, Sheila Sellers and husband Randy of Yukon, Ronnie Vavak of Bethany, and Michele Hardy of Yukon; grandchildren, Haley Stevens and husband Justin of Yukon, Jonathan Sellers and wife Summer of Oklahoma City, Dana Sellers and husband Gilles Sadak of Brentwood, Maryland, and Carson Hardy of Bethany; great-grandchildren Ryder and Sayler Stevens of Yukon. Viewing with family present will be Tuesday, 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, February 15, 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery. .
