Freddie Lou Kint Peters went to be with the love of her life on March 2, 2010. She was born on March 12, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lois and Irving Kint. Freddie married her best friend, Dan Peters, on Dec. 28, 1968. Freddie and Dan loved to travel with their family. They lived in Washington and Thailand with the Air Force. After retirement they lived in Castle Rock, Colorado and ran a grocery store. Later they served as Volunteer missionaries in Port au Prince, Haiti for over two years. In 1986, they finally settled in Oklahoma where Freddie opened and ran a home day care. She served many families over the course of 20 years by providing a loving environment for each child. She also served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the food pantry ministry of Council Road Baptist Church. She found no greater joy than the time spent with her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, bowling, crafts, Sunday school, reading from her collection of many books, and many other opportunities to serve others. Freddie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and her lovingly devoted husband of 32 years and best friend, Cleties Dan Peters. She is survived by 5 daughters and families: Mevalene and Daniel Anderson of Woodstock, GA, Cindy Peters of Purcell, OK, Julie and Tony Davis of OKC, Beth and Tom Yagecic of Georgetown, FL, and Dani and Greg Danyluk of Toronto, Canada; 9 beloved grandchildren: Tess, Tommy and Annie Yagecic, Jeremiah and Joshua Anderson, Jonathan Danyluk, Phillip, James and Peter Davis; and numerous other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00am at Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
