Freda M. Wasson, 82, of OKC, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2013. She was born May 14, 1931 in Bath, MI to L.D. and Ruth (Teed) Huckins. She was a pastor's wife, nurse and loving mother and grandmother. She will be sorely missed. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Robert Wasson, son, Kevin Wasson, granddaughter, Kristi Primeaux, and great-granddaughter, Kristin Leger. She is survived by her son, Paul Wasson and wife Laura Lynn; daughter, Rebekah Wasson; sisters, Dorene Huckins, Iloree Debolt and Sandra Church; brother, Lowell Huckins; grandchildren, Robert and Tiffany Wasson, Laura Dartez, Cheryl and Mike Leger; great-grandchildren, Bryce Dartez, Hunter Primeaux, Karli and Kayli Leger; and her "other" kids, Nathan Ashby, Alton Ashby, Jr., Mike Ashby, Debra Ashby Johnson, Jimmy Ashby and Pete Ashby. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 8, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service.
