Frances Elnora Woodruff, 88, died December 17, 2022 in Oklahoma City. She was born March 19, 1934 in Chandler, Oklahoma to James and Alwilda (Sheppard) Evans. She belonged to the Federally Employed Womens organization and retired as a secretary of 25 years from the VA Medical Center, a job she loved. She was a longtime member of Church of the First Born. Frances loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was also a dog lover. She liked to play Bridge, and her favorite meal was a Whataburger and strawberry shake. She enjoyed traveling with her family. Most of all, she loved Christmas time. She will be especially missed this Christmas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R.D. "Sam" Woodruff; her son, David; sisters, Margaret McDonald and Alta Blackburn; and brother, J.W. Evans. Survivors include her son, Tracey Woodruff; two grandchildren, Brandi Dane Woodruff, and Britttany Danielle Hudman-Woodruff; daughter-in-law, Kim Woodruff; brother, Tommy Evans; and nieces and nephews.
