Frances Lucille Pritchett was born October 18, 1921 in Webb City, Missouri to Charles Benjamin Pritchett and Fannie Farmer Leonard Pritchett. She died November 3, 2010, at the age of 89. Lucille attended school at Putnam City, graduating high school in 1939. She graduated from Bethany-Peniel College in 1943 with a degree in English. She worked at Douglas Aircraft during World War II. She received a second degree at BPC in theological studies and later a Masters in Education from Central State College of Edmond. She was an elementary school teacher at Levelland and El Paso in Texas and taught 19 years at Putnam City Elementary. Lucille was an accomplished musician and was very active in various church activities and mission work at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of The Care and Share Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles B., Sr. and Fannie Pritchett, two brothers, C. Ben Pritchett, Jr. and W.R. Bill Pritchett, and a niece, Helen Pritchett. She is survived by her sister, Patricia E. Meek and husband Stan; sister-in-laws Shirley Pritchett and Lora Winningham; nieces and nephews Ron Pritchett and wife Diane, Gayle Webb and husband Rodger, Joy McCord and husband Lance, Bernice Wallace and husband Mark, Barbara Woods and husband Ron, Beth Toland and husband Jerry, Sharon Bolton and husband Steve, Steve Meek, Patty Dobbs and husband Larry, Bill Meek and wife Cindy; and 21 great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, gifts of love may be sent to Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for World Missions or to Crossroads Hospice. Funeral services will be Monday, November 8, 2:00pm at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, Chapel in the Round, with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
